On the Rocks

Just like the wave, life too is a set changing circumstances. Change is inevitable, how we adapt to it, is what really matters. Just like the beach, where these waves come in to crash and waste itself, its energy, the sand retains its pristine beauty, we too must remain unaffected by what is happening around us, and accept the change. Flow with the tide, as the saying goes, for in trying to stem the flow of change, we will get badgered and beaten. Resist, and you lose your peace of mind and happiness! (Sogyal Rinpoche)
